Qi Zimo’s dimension was a useless dimension!

Just like with Yan Qi’s dimension that was filled with hurricanes, Qi Zimo’s dimension was filled with a chaotic mass of elemental impacts. It was a dimension in which no living being could exist…

Comparing the two, the sturdy probe could still survive within Yan Qi’s dimension, and could even conduct field surveys. However, Qi Zimo’s dimension was far too violent. With the current technology, no machine would be able to last more than a minute within his dimension. With a space of at least a hundred thousand square meters, a minute was too short to be able to survey anything practical.

That was also the root cause for the assessor’s delay in appraising Qi Zimo’s dimension.

Even though it appeared to be a useless dimension, there was no real data to support that fact after all. They could not just jump to conclusions.

Yet, if it couldn’t be surveyed, then it could only be judged as useless…

The room was silent, but Shi Qing stood up abruptly and looked towards the assessor, asking, “Can you postpone the assessment? We will try to find equipment that can survey his dimension!”

As soon as he said that, Qi Lu turned towards him, and then echoed Shi Qing’s words.

With Qi Lu’s identity, it was not an excessive request. The assessors could work around the rules, and what’s more, they also prayed that a genius space carrier could be born in their own region!

Even so, things could not be dragged on for too long. After all, there were many troublesome procedures that still had to go on such as arranging his enrollment, reporting, and registration. For those reasons, they had to give them a time limit. “Four days, if you can’t find a way in four days, we will have to note down the assessment in our records.”

Four days was a tight schedule, but it was still better than nothing at all. Shi Qing nodded in agreement.

Without further ado, the two left the room. Qi Lu held Shi Qing back, and after some hesitation, he still decided to say, “Don’t tell Xiao Mo for now.”

After all, Qi Zimo was still young, so he was afraid that he would not be able to take it when struck with such a blow.

He thought that Shi Qing would agree with his suggestion, but he never would have thought that the youth would look back at him, and firmly refuse, “We have to tell him.”

Qi Lu was slightly stunned.

Shi Qing continued on, “We have to tell him everything, he has the right to know. We’ll work hard in these four days, and even after these four days past, we still can’t give up, but we can’t hide it from him. During the first phase, his dimension was assessed to be a hundred square units large, and some unknown elements were found in the second phase, as well as their current situation…

Xia Nuo’s voice was not very loud. It was the soft and smooth, and when he spoke, his pitch slightly turned up at the end of his words. Since they were talking about such serious things, his voice was more solemn than usual.

After everything was said, there was still no change in Qi Zimo’s expression. The only response that could be detected was in his hand that clutched Shi Qing’s hand even more unnaturally tight.

After a moment, he slowly spoke, and a slight tremble could be heard in his childlike voice, “I got it.”

Shi Qing knew that Qi Zimo was panicked in his heart. He was afraid, but his dignity made him keep his head high, and he could only face it.

A sour taste spread through his heart. Shi Qing could only feel his chest tighten, throbbing painfully. He had hoped that Qi Zimo would be able to react like a normal child, so he could cry out his worries and vent. That would still be better than keeping everything bottled up in his heart.

He was still a child, and his shoulders were still too weak. There was no need to pile up all of these burdens on them now.

Shi Qing could not say it though. He watched as Qi Zimo forced himself to be strong, never bending his straight figure, and he could not bring himself to say anything that could make him feel weak.

His dignity was something carved deep into his bones. Any kind of sympathy or compassion would only end up as the greatest insult to him.

The next four days were a battle against time.

Qi Lu had a lot of experience, and a very wide network of contacts after all, so he was the one responsible for running around, even outside of the Lanxin Area. He was contacting people in all the other big regions and searching the world for equipment that was powerful enough to enter Qi Zimo’s dimension!

Meanwhile, Shi Qing’s task was to flip through history to find a precedent for the case. Since Qi Zimo’s dimension was very large, something must have been written down if something similar had happened in the past. Perhaps it had been too long, and everyone had long forgotten about it, but if it was in the library’s collection, he would definitely be able to find a hint!

Shi Qing’s identity had also finally found a role in the search. He chose to stay in school, so he could go in and out of the school as he pleased. He asked Professor Wang Yang for help and obtained a pass for the school library. With that, he would be able to go through a large number of the resources there.

There would be no other collection of books in the world as abundant as the library in the thousand year old school!

Qi Zimo could not enter the school since his dimension results were not published, so he could not go with Shi Qing. He could not help out at Qi Lu’s side either.

However, he did not stay idle. Even though there was not a single machine that could enter his dimension, as the carrier, he was able to look at it from afar.

He could not take the risk and enter, but he could still use long-distance observation to try and understand his own dimension. That could still be helpful.

With the three working together, they started to busy themselves.

Qi Rui had been going through a miserable patch in his life.

He was charged and found guilty of intention to commit murder. Even though it was not successful, he still had to suffer due to Qi Lu handing out money to several parties under the table.

He was still the carrier of a level six dimension, so he held certain privileges. Even if he was sentenced to go to jail, he was not afraid. He could come out with just a little bit of bribery.

What drove him mad was the fact that his reputation was damaged!

With the title of a ferocious and crazy murderer on his head, he was likely to be removed from the Qi family register.

If he left the Qi family, then he would lose his quarter of the magical stones. When that time came, he would be left with nothing!

Qi Zihui panted, “I bribed one of the assessors and got the image of his dimension, quick, look at this!”

Saying that, he showed him the short five second video.

When Qi Rui watched it, his brows knitted at first, but then they spread out.

“The probe can only film for five seconds? So Qi Zimo’s dimension is actually one mess of an abandoned dimension?!”

Qi Zihui was also extremely excited, “Yes, father, it is!”

Hearing this, a bold thought formed in Qi Rui’s brain.

He suddenly laughed, “The winds are changing, it seems we have a chance to turn things around.”

In case you missed my post about it, just know that, through my own actions, there are many many dead links on this site. I’m slowly fixing them. I was actually going through to update all the links to go from chapter to chapter for RAAS, and then I got distracted reading it.  I forgot how much I truly love this novel. And how hilarious I am…my jokes crack me right up. I sure am true to my sense of humour. Made me a little proud about myself.

Even if you don’t click down to them, sometimes it’s worth reading my footnotes at the end. Unless you don’t have a dry as fuck sense of humour. (omg did she just say the f word). I promise I almost never swear. Gonna go wash my mouth with soap. Or should I wash my hands? Not really a punishment…should probably wash my hands anyways though.
